Interior Engineering provided a full complement of engineering design for the Aurizon offices refurbishment at 192 Ann Street including mechanical, electrical, fire protection, hydraulic and security consultancy services. The project involved the fitout of the entire level of 192 Ann Street to further increase Aurizon’s tenancy space within the building. Along with the entire floor fitout a number of staff kitchens / breakout spaces on the already occupied levels were also refurbished as part of the project. Considerable attention was paid to providing an inviting and relaxing environment for staff in the kitchen / breakout spaces, particularly on those existing floors that where not being refurbished. This allowed the project to provide the maximum benefit to staff within the building by having a more attractive workspace while being conscience of limitations of the budget available to the project. Interior Engineering succeeded in delivering a quality engineering solution within in a rapid programme, providing Aurizon with the ability to occupy their new office space within a brief timeframe. In all the fitout provided Aurizon with over 2700 square metres of additional open plan office, meeting rooms, utility areas, collaborative and breakout spaces.
