Our company goal is to provide client satisfaction through the provision of cost effective quality service. Interior Engineering is a progressive company continuously researching the latest changes in technology to aid in providing green, efficient, innovative and creative building services designs to the Client while still providing reliable service.

Our aim is to integrate with and enhance the concepts of the architects and designers to produce projects appealing to the Client and to also incorporate efficiency measures to aide with long-term environmental improvements. We provide technically innovative advice to ensure that the building services harmonise with the expressions of the design to obtain an aesthetically enhancing and physically comfortable environment for the Client.

Our design and documentation teams have honed their skills to be able to respond to fast track programmed projects. With this unique approach to Building Services design and our vast experience in this field, we are able to provide tenancy engineering services second to none. Interior Engineering now employ over 30 staff members who are committed to providing service that goes beyond what is required. With offices in both Queensland and Victoria, Interior Engineering are involved in projects Australia wide and have obtained the relevant engineering accreditations nationally.

BEYOND ENGINEERING

At Interior Engineering, we see our work as more than delivering projects — we believe our responsibility extends to building trust and making lasting contributions to our employees, clients, industry, and the communities and environments we serve. We are committed to making a positive impact wherever we can, whether through professional leadership, charitable giving, sustainable design, or investing in the next generation of engineers.

Interior Engineering will continue to evolve through thoughtful sustainability action, meaningful community involvement, professional leadership, and investment in our people. We aim to be known not just for excellent engineering, but for responsible engineering — work that reflects our values and makes a positive difference in the world we help shape.

INVESTING IN OUR PEOPLE

At Interior Engineering, we highly value growth, learning, and professional development and believe strong engineering outcomes begin with capable, well-supported professionals. We host regular internal training seminars across teams to develop well-rounded, knowledgeable employees — not only in their own discipline, but across disciplines, so their understanding of building services contributes to the bigger picture of our projects. We provide study assistance and actively support engineers pursuing professional accreditations in their field. We believe that upskilling and empowering our people leads to better outcomes for our clients, our team, and the broader industry.

ETHICS & PROFESSIONAL INTEGRITY

Integrity is fundamental. Interior Engineering upholds strict policies around ethics, supplier interaction, and professional conduct. This ensures that all engineering advice remains independent, unbiased, and in the best interests of our clients. This policy protects trust and transparency in every engagement.

SUSTAINABILITY AS A CORE CONSIDERATION

Reducing environmental impact is a continual commitment for us, both within our organisation and through the engineering solutions we deliver. Our initiatives include optimising lighting and air conditioning systems for energy efficiency and prioritising the reuse of building elements in the projects we undertake. Internally, we have digitised drawing markups and design reviews to minimise paper use and actively recycle cartridges, batteries, and general office waste. At Interior Engineering, we continually research and implement new strategies and regularly review our environmental performance to further reduce our impact on the environment.

GIVING BACK TOGETHER

At Interior Engineering, community support is at the heart of our culture. Each month, we host the “IE Loud Shirt Day” charity initiative, where staff wear their boldest shirts and donate to a chosen cause, with the company matching every dollar raised. The charity is selected annually by staff vote, ensuring our giving reflects what matters most to our team. We also regularly run a Christmas toy drive, collecting and donating gifts to the children’s hospital to bring joy to families during the holiday season. These initiatives reflect our belief that meaningful impact begins with collective contribution.
