BANK OF QUEENSLAND HEAD OFFICE
Interior Engineering were engaged for the mechanical, electrical, communications, fire and hydraulic services design associated with the relocation of the Bank of Queensland head office into a new office building at 100 Skyring Terrace. Although the fit out was not integrated into the base building construction, close coordination with the developer (FKG) was required to ensure the base building services met the BOQ requirements. Part of this process included an internal stair well connecting 5 floors, a designated kitchen exhaust riser and additional power and condenser water infrastructure necessary for a their server room. For the five floor internal stairwell, the fire engineered solution was developed by Fire Check, while the associated sprinkler and smoke management system was designed by Interior Engineering.
Interior Engineering were involved on this project over a period of 3 years from early design inception at the end of 2012, detail design in 2013, construction in 2014 and the end of the defects liability period in 2015.
