ARCHITECTUS

The Level 11 office fit out at Riverside Centre showcases a highly coordinated and refined workplace, delivered for Architectus, who acted as both client and design architect. This project embodies a sophisticated design vision, balancing bespoke materiality with a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by an exposed slab ceiling throughout.

Interior Engineering was engaged as the building services consultant, providing full mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, and integrated AV design services. Working in close collaboration with Architectus and head contractor FDC, our team played a key role in translating the architectural intent into a fully resolved and buildable outcome.

The design presented a number of technical challenges, particularly in maintaining the integrity of the exposed slab while accommodating complex services infrastructure. Extensive coordination was required to integrate services seamlessly within a highly detailed architectural environment featuring bespoke finishes and carefully curated spatial elements. Every service route, fixture, and interface was meticulously considered to ensure alignment with both performance requirements and visual outcomes.

Our team leveraged REVIT MEP to develop and document the building services design, enabling a high level of precision and coordination across all disciplines. This digital approach facilitated clash detection, streamlined collaboration, and ensured that the design intent was carried through to construction with clarity and accuracy.

The result is a workplace that reflects Architectus’ design excellence, underpinned by a robust and thoughtfully integrated services solution. Interior Engineering’s involvement ensured that functionality, performance, and aesthetics were delivered in equal measure, contributing to a cohesive and high-quality built environment.
